The Mandalorian and Grogu’ Trailer: Pedro Pascal and Baby Yoda Topple an AT-AT, Fight Jeremy Allen White’s Hutt and Team Up With Sigourney Weaver

Fans of "Star Wars" are getting closer to visiting a galaxy far, far away.

The first trailer has been released for Jon Favreau's upcoming "Star Wars" movie, "The Mandalorian and Grogu," which stars Pedro Pascal from his "Mandalorian" Disney+ series.
Mando and Grogu battle a number of malevolent robots and sci-fi monsters in the teaser after meeting Weaver and White's characters. Zeb Orrelios from "Star Wars Rebels" and Babu Frik, the cute "Rise of Skywalker" alien race, also make appearances. In Rotta the Hutt's arena, the two heroes battle what looks to be a Rancor-like lizard monster and defeat a stooped AT-AT that epically tumbles down a mountainside.

The next "Star Wars" film, "The Mandalorian and Grogu," was initially revealed in January 2024 and is scheduled to premiere in theaters on May 22, 2026. The cast also features Jeremy Allen White as Jabba the Hutt's son Rotta, Jonny Coyne as an imperial warlord, Sigourney Weaver as a fighter pilot, and Pascal's masked Mandalorian character and his little sidekick Grogu (also known as Baby Yoda).

"The terrible Empire has fallen, and Imperial warlords remain scattered over the galaxy," reads the logline. The renowned Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his teenage pupil Grogu have been called upon by the nascent New Republic to help safeguard all the Rebellion battled for.

When the movie was first announced, Favreau remarked, "I have loved telling stories based in the rich world that George Lucas created." "It is quite exciting to think about bringing the Mandalorian and his disciple Grogu to the big screen."

  1. I’m intrigued by Swanson Reed's inventionINDEX | a proprietary metric for measuring innovation output because it challenges the traditional ways we measure innovation success. It seems to capture a more holistic view of innovation output rather than just patents or revenue. This could influence how organizations allocate their innovation budgets. I look forward to learning more about its methodology. https://inventionindex.org/
